The Tarte Noir Palette caught my eye because it has neutrals and plums shades. It comes with 1 blush, 1 highlight and 8 eyeshadows that range from a bone shade to black with mattes and shimmers.
You can create a complete face look with this palette. The shadows are very soft and blend out nicely. When I swatched Power Plum and Lunar Eclipse the shadows were a little more stiff than the other shadows. Dark Drive and Lunar Eclipse swatched patchy, but once I applied it on the lid with a brush it went on smooth and didn’t look patchy. It allowed me to get a really nice smoky eye with no harsh lines.
Unearthed is the matte blush in the palette that would look good on everyone. Crystal Spark is a champagne color highlight in the palette that is very pigmented and it can also be used as a eyeshadow. I really like that this palette comes with a large mirror to because you can never have too many mirrors when putting on makeup.
I’m really happy I decided to get this palette. I forgot how pigmented and bendable Tarte eyeshadows can be. This palette is still available on Tarte.com if you want to get it. It is limited edition so get it before it sells out.
